Bandsaw Box Making Course

This course requires pre-registration.
This course provides an introduction to bandsaw box making using a simple design. Participants will be provided with 2 blanks which allows them to create two boxes. The focus of the course is on understanding the cutting techniques using the bandsaws that are required to create a box and the finishing process. The course runs over two days (Sun 30 March and Sat 5 April) starting at 9am on each day.
Cost is $25.
Payment is to be made at the shed on the POS machine at the front door. There is an icon at the bottom of the screen titled “Bandsaw Box Making”. Following the instructions Paying for a Workshop on the wall behind the POS.
Participants need to bring the following:
- Sandpaper in a variety of grits/grades
- Pencil for marking
- Ruler Marking gauge if you have one
- Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Mask for the machine room
- Lunch
